Meet Our Group

Steve Anderson is married to his beautiful wife Judy.  They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Steve is a Deacon at Worthington Christian Church and heads up the  safety/security ministry.  He is also very active also in music ministry/drama/praise team. Priorities in life - God, Family, Church, Work (in that order)

Nancy Stoll is a member of the Grove City United Methodist Church where she has served as a Trustee, Stephen’s Minister and member of the contemporary Praise & Worship Team.   Sharing the love of God through music has always been her passion. "I simply delight in Him as I do so!"   Nancy is a Certified Business Advisor and Program Coordinator for the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Columbus State Community College.

Tom Damron is a Deacon at the Canaan Land Baptist Church, in Grove City, and is their Song Leader for the worship services. He also holds several offices within his church and is active within the congregation.  Tom is retired from American Electric Power.

Brian Morgan is also a member of the Grove City United Methodist Church and has held about every office within the church.  As the former Director of Lay Speaking for the Columbus South District, Brian gives IHS the unique perspective of being able to do a complete church service on Sunday’s when pastors are out of the pulpit.  Brian is retired after 45 years in the computer industry.

 

About Us

In His Service began singing together in the winter of 2000 as an offshoot of the United Methodist Men’s group of the Grove City United Methodist Church.

We began singing at church services, church dinners, and other church events. As time passed, we received requests from other churches, from the United Methodist Columbus South District, and from other Community events.

We have performed for events all over Central Ohio. In His Service has opened concerts for such artists as Ivan Parker, The Talley Trio, Anthony Burger, Krista Weygand, and others.
